Character Design – Hippolyta

I gotta give massive props to Minarho1 over at Deviant Art for the reference I used for this Hippolyta battle armour concept, I saw her drawing of the Wonder Women and new straight away that’s the design I have to base my concept art on. Big thanks to Minarho for giving me blessing to use her artwork as a guide.

I love everything about this. LOVE.

The silver accents- inspired by Phil Jimenez, I wonder?
Her stature is elegant. Her face– nailed it.
The bracers…. how do you DO that?
    Completely amazing!

What is the name of the Actress you chose for Hippolyta? She looks familiar but I can’t place a name to the face.

Great work on her. I love your work on the Amazons! I was wondering if you would do a wallpaper w/ Artemis, Diana and Hippolyta?
