Something a little different, there’s been some rumblings of a possible third installment of Ghostbusters lately, so I thought I whip up a teaser poster together with an updated version of the Ghostbusters logo. I steered clear using a logo with the ghost showing three fingers like the film two logo, instead I went back to the original logo and basically just updated it to be a bit more sleek and modern, also wanted to give the ghost a more aggressive facial expression. The title comes from a working title the third film was rumored to have had a few years ago. Please NOTE: the website address on the poster is FAKE. Logo done in Illustrator, poster in Photoshop.

Character Design – Artemis

This took me quite some time in terms of figuring out the design more than anything else. As Artemis has never really had a set costume design as it were (except for the trademark long red hair) I took some liberties and came up with my own design for the character. I did get some influence from the Wonder Woman animated movie however, most notably the colour scheme of the character being very similar. I chose Missy Peregrym as the model coz she has a certain edge to her that suits Artemis.

Latest batch of WW concepts, First one took about 3 hours using mostly palette knives, wanted to show the contrast between Paradise Island and the Outside World, second one took me way longer than expected, couldn’t find the right ‘camera angle’ so I kept redoing the figures over and over again, about 6 hours work on that one.
Plane Crash on Paradise Island.

Forgive the rather generic looking Ares on the second one, I’ve yet to come up with a design for him.
